![]() The shots to the right and below are from a great jazz opera called John Grace Ranter, written by Michael Sahl with Margaret Yard. ![]() Ranter's a cult leader remanded to an asylum for observation. While there he heals the patients, falls in love with the head nurse, and blows it all to Kingdom Come. Great and complex jazz (and some country) licks with lyrics you'd best buckle-up your brain for. ![]() ![]()

Welcome. This (and Operalia) is a vanity page about some of the performance work I've been lucky enough to do in my profession. Go click on MaXaM at Favorite Links to see where I'm headed on the production side of things. ![]() So. I sang baroque opera for 5 seasons with Measured Breaths Theatre in NYC, garnering reviews from The New York Times, Opera News (thrice), Village Voice (twice), The Nation, The Courier. I've workshopped and premiered 13 musicals or operas there and in LA (4 of those with Wendy), including MacGregors and the Broadway-bound Pilgrim (haven't you been to our links yet?). I've co-starred in 6 feature films, had a recurring role on (say it with me) Power Rangers and appeared as Ozzy's manic butler on MTV's The Osbournes. I've done voice-over characters for 9 Japanese Anime, sung concerts in England and Italy, and am writing Dracula, Fugue in Moonlight with composer Gianluca Cuchiarra whenever we're on the same continent. ![]()
